Why I Built This
When I started my Master of Social Work at SUSS, the programme matched us with supervisors. But I wanted exposure to different approaches, and that meant going beyond the match. So I did what everyone does: asked around on WhatsApp, sent cold emails to strangers, hoped someone would say yes.
I tracked my hours in Excel. The file was called something like "supervision_log_v4_FINAL.xlsx". When it came time for accreditation, I filled out forms manually and navigated systems that haven't changed much in years. It worked, eventually.
"There has to be a better way."
Years later, I watch the same pattern repeat. Interns and new practitioners come through, and the first question is always the same: "Do you know a good supervisor?"
The honest answer is complicated. A good supervisor isn't just someone with credentials. It's someone whose approach fits your learning needs. Some practitioners need structured frameworks. Others need reflective space. But how do you find that match when the whole system runs on word-of-mouth?
This is my contribution back to the sector. A solution to a problem I lived through and keep watching others live through.
