OurPracticeCircle is a platform that connects social service professionals in Singapore (social workers, counsellors, psychologists) with accredited supervisors for clinical supervision. The platform also helps users track supervision hours for professional accreditation purposes.

2. Personal Data We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: Name and email address — used to create and manage your account
• Professional information: Registration number, profession, workplace, years of experience — used to match supervisors with supervisees
• Profile information: Specialties, languages, bio, supervision rate — displayed on your public profile
• Session records: Date, duration, mode, type — used to track supervision hours

2.2 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Client case notes or session content
• NRIC or identity card numbers
• Payment or credit card information
• Health information about you or your clients

3. How We Use Your Personal Data

• Create and manage your account
• Display your profile to potential supervisors/supervisees
• Share your contact details with users you connect with
• Send email notifications (connection requests, session confirmations)
• Track and export supervision hours
• Improve the platform

4. Sharing Your Personal Data

Before connection: Only your name, profession, and profile information are visible.

After connection is accepted: You can communicate via in-app messaging. Your email is shared with the connected party.

We do NOT sell your personal data or share it with advertisers.

5. Data Retention

• Account data: Until you delete your account
• Session records: Until you delete your account
• Messages: Until you or the other party deletes them; deleted messages are permanently removed after 90 days
• Contact form submissions: 90 days
• Log data: 12 months
• Backups: 30 days

6. Your Rights Under PDPA

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct your personal data
• Withdraw consent and request deletion

7. Data Security

• All data transmitted via HTTPS/TLS 1.3 (encrypted in transit)
• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms (we cannot see your password)
• Row-level security ensures users can only access their own data
• Platform administrators have technical database access for maintenance and support, but are committed to not accessing private messages or session details without explicit consent

8. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of Singapore. We use the following service providers:

• Supabase: Database and authentication services (servers in Singapore, with backups in the United States)
• Vercel: Web hosting (global edge network, including servers in Singapore and the United States)
• Resend: Email delivery service (United States)

These providers maintain security standards comparable to Singapore's PDPA requirements. By using OurPracticeCircle, you consent to such transfers.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
