I am a social worker with experience in Family Service Centre practice, supporting individuals and families with complex and multifaceted needs. I am passionate about helping social workers strengthen their practice, develop confidence in their professional judgement, and navigate challenging cases with greater clarity. As a supervisor, I adopt a reflective, practical and strengths-based approach. I believe supervision should provide a safe space for social workers to think critically about their cases, while also challenging them to examine their assumptions, professional boundaries, interventions and decision-making. My supervision focuses on helping social workers move beyond simply asking “What should I do?” to considering: “What is happening?” → “How do I understand it?” → “Why am I choosing this intervention?” → “What impact is it having?” I aim to support supervisees to become more confident and independent practitioners, rather than becoming dependent on a supervisor for answers.
